Vaford Gates is proud to be part of the CHAI WAN MEI - the annual creative art and design festival held in conjunction with the Art Basel HK.

This time we are showcasing the talented twin duo - How & Nosm - hailed from New York. The identical twin artists created two gates of shifting maze, mutating characters and geometric patterns in mesmerising details.

Vaford Gates will kick off the New Year with new shutters by LA – based duo Cyrcle. Cyrcle is a duo born out of Los Angeles California in 2010. The two artists come from different backgrounds of the artistic spectrum - graffiti, fine art, and design. They utilize negative and oppressive imagery to create hope and inspiration. Their aesthetic combines Classic Romanticism with alchemic symbolism, introducing it to the contemporary world through street campaigns, gallery work, and collaborations. These works reveal complex ideologies in their simplest forms. Living by the motto We Never Die, Cyrcle strives to shed light on otherwise dark matters, playfully exposing the gray areas of life. They have recently completed murals in Hong Kong, Portugal, Detroit, and Art Basel Miami 2013.

A crowd of journalists, stylists, architects and designers showed up Sunday for the painting of the inaugural mural of The Vaford Gates by UK artists INSA. His signature high heels and heart-shaped bottoms adorn the gates of the Vaford Group Warehouse and will be up until later this year.

INSA worked tirelessly from noon to well into the night to music and the encouragement of bystanders. His two murals are the first of many to come. Look out for future announcements, and see photos of the event here.
